Mirabella at Paris Fashion Week

After New York, London, and Milan, the world finally turns its eyes to Paris for the grand finale of fashion week each season.

The French capital is synonymous with fashion, and we all know beauty is as much a key player on the runway as clothes are.

This week Mirabella Beauty headed back to Paris for our second fashion week in the city of lights! With some gorgeous new additions to our line and some trustworthy favorites in tow, our makeup artists, led by Lisa Hickerson, worked their magic behind the scenes. It’s always exciting to see what top French fashion houses will reveal in their latest collections. Equally as exciting, however, is discovering fresh new talent. Tiffany’s Fashion Week is one of the most exciting events of Paris Fashion Week to see new designers. Now in its third season the event has grown immensely since launching three seasons ago as an international showcase. Press filled out every seat in the house this year.

With eight different designers showing their collections in three shows throughout the day on March 7th, Mirabella makeup artists were tasked with creating a versatile yet striking look to compliment a range of styles walking the runway. Mirabella Skin Tint Crème was the perfect base to create a dewy and flawless complexion that was camera ready. Available in fourteen shades, coverage was perfectly matched to models of every skin tone that walked on Saturday. Mirabella’s ‘Most Wanted’ palette from the forthcoming Metropolitan Collection made the perfect smokey eye, topped off with our popular Magic Marker Eyeliner and Lash Luxe Mascara. But the star of the show was Mirabella’s Red Velvet Stay All Day Lip Pencil to complete every look with that luscious Parisian pout we all want to see at Paris Fashion Week.

After the show the models wore their makeup from runway, the real way. They traded in their gorgeous couture gowns for leather leggings, faux fur coats and this year’s trendy Stan Smith sneakers on their way out. Their glam Mirabella makeup looked equally as chic for the street with their off duty style as it did on the catwalk.
