I’ll be 49 this year, and love wearing cream/liquid eyeshadow. This by far is the only eyeshadow primer that does what it claims. No creasing, with my liquid or cream shadows, and easily sets with powder or powder shadow. I should’ve bought 2, please dont ever change the formula!

I typically use designer or name brand primers which can get a bit costly so I was excited to try this product. It comes in a tube about the size of mascara with a wand built in the cap. It is a bit thicker than some primers so you definitely should wipe the applicator on the side of the container to wipe off the excess. It works really well and helps the eye shadow last all day.

I use it before any bold eyeshadow. Doesn't crease. Blend correctly, keeps it there but doesn't brighten the makeup like I thought it would. Good price. Great shipping

This is a great primer and has worked well for me. It's creamy but it dries fairly quick so I find it best to put it on one eye at a time. I use the applicator to apply some to my eyelid and then gently tap and spread it around with my finger. Then I do the other eye. You don't have to wait to do your eyeshadow like with other primers that dry slowly. At the end of the day, my eyeshadow still looks good and I rarely have any creasing if I use this under it.

There was a bit of a learning curve when it came to using this eye makeup primer. At first I used it like my old primer, completely coating my lids, and doing it generously. Disaster. I found that less is more. I use my pinky to pat it in and then apply the shadow. No creasing, no flaking.

I have used many different brands of eye shadow primers throughout the years and this one works as well as any of them. It goes on smooth and evenly and keeps those ugly creases out of my shadow. Plus, I have very sensitive eyes and skin and this has not caused any irritation. As with all, you must use it sparingly. A little goes a long way so just use a tiny bit and spread it on your eyelid before it dries. Highly recommend!

I always wear something to keep my eyeshadow colourful. I previously used to buy the Urban Decay one. I've tried Boing, and decided i didn't really want to pay the price, and tried various cheap others, now i just use a bit of concealer, which does exactly the same thing i want it to do - which is that i want it to be a uniform pale colour on my eye, and give a little grip for powder shadow to grip and it works just fine. So this Mirabella eye primer, it does the job, and you do not need much. I do a TINY swipe on my eye, and using a tiny teardrop sponge, i bounce it around. You really don't need that much to do the job. Doing it this way, as opposed to using the doe foot applicator, and daubing a vast amount of primer all over my eyelid, which is then just a wet surface that needs to dry, means I've got a primed surface to apply powder shadow onto, and it works just perfectly. My eyeshadow is as bold and colourful at the end of the day, as when i apply it. I'm very happy with it.

Mirabella Waterproof Creamy Eyeshadow Primer, 2.2g/0.08oz I really love this eye primer and it works really well at keeping eyeshadow in place. The doe-foot applicator does a good job at application. One thing that I noticed is that you don't need a lot of product for it to work. It needs to be fully dry for this to work properly. I let it sit for about 2 minutes and it really smooths out everything and lets both cream, liquid, or powder shadows stay in place and blend easily. It works really well and it does get some coverage on my eyelids which makes my eyeshadow more brighter but for the price I definitely don't think it's worth $20 because after a few uses it gets dried up even if you close it really tight and I think that's a waste of $20 if all it's gonna do is dry up maybe I got an old one but eyeshadow primer shouldn't be lumpy because that's what I got but for $20 in my opinion it definitely should be lower if it's gonna dry that quick.

I wore this primer when I did my own makeup for my wedding!! Eyeshadow primer just always makes eyeshadow stay on a lot longer and go on better. This wasn't the best eyeshadow primer I used. It definitely helped a lot with long lasting but it didn't last all night. I've used other primers (expensive ones) that have worked a little better.

I like how even though this feels oily at first, it does dry to not be oily and appears to help somewhat to keep eyeshadow longer. However, the wand isn't very useful, and I ended up needing to use my finger to spread and smooth this one well. There was a place I missed and found a white spot that I had to rub off after this had dried. It did seem to provide a good base for my eyeshadow which is better than nothing, but as for how long it held my eyeshadow compared to nothing or just over foundation, was fair to middling. I felt that this primer was better than 3 stars but closer to 3.75 in ease of use, application drying time and eyeshadow holding power. It's not bad, but I'd probably get a different primer when this runs out. Thanks for reading.

This works pretty well for me. I don't prefer it over my favorite primer, of which I've been faithfully using for 5 years, but I do like this enough to use in a makeup emergency.

When it comes to primer, you want to use very little. You just need enough to blend over the surface of your lid. Literally a little dot of this thick creamy primer will do. I do have moderately oily eyelids and generally use the Sigma primers. I've been using the Sigma one forever and have never needed to use something else because that creates a great base for me. This primer does ok. I do need to warm it up with the finger so I apply some to my finger then tap it onto the lid and then use a blending brush to buff it in a little. Eyeshadow stays put with no creasing. I do prefer the Sigma formula still and, it's more cost effective so I wont switch. There are other more affordable primers you can try as well. But if you want to give this a go, the volume you get should last a while, and it performs well.

The Mirabella Waterproof Creamy Eyeshadow Primer comes in a container that might be mistaken for mascara (as I did). It's the exact same size and shape as a mascara tube, and it's only when you pull out the wand that you realize your error. The application of the primer is easy; you swipe the spongy tip of the wand across your eyelid, and I found it easier to rub it in with my fingertips. The only downside I came across with this primer is that I found it a little bit less creamy to apply than some other primers. I suspect that the reason is that this one is waterproof, and I can't think of any other primers that claim to be. I had be quick about spreading the primer along my lids and smoothing it in before it wanted to lock into place. I feel that other primers give me more time to smooth them into my lids. However, this really works to lock down my eye makeup. I even used it with a notoriously oily eyeshadow (a natural shadow cream shadow that usually slides all over the place, creases within an hour, and ends up under my eyes, in my waterline, and goodness knows where else after that), and it actually held the shadow in place all day long, with a tiny hint of a crease, but barely. For this shadow, that was a downright miracle. I recommend this highly--just be quick about applying it.

I have very oily eyelids and must wear primer to get my shadow to stay put. While this did seem to work to keep my shadow in place, the color payoff just really lacked. I could not get the color to pop like it normally does with my regular primer. This is only about $6 cheaper than my prestige brand I normally use. I would not buy this when I could just spend a little more and get an all around quality primer.

Seems thick going on which seemed promising but it didn't hold eye shadow well throughout the day. By the end of it there wasn't much shadow left and some crusty white spots on the eye lid maybe from the primer not being worked in enough. I tried using it on my nose (which is sometimes recommended for stronger foundation grip) and makeup separated. There are cheaper options that do better.

This is an eyeshadow primer that is meant to be applied on the lids before you put the color on. The intent is for the shadow to then stay in place for hours and waterproof. Since I do not use powder eyeshadow, that may have been the reason why I did not think this worked very well. Also, the white creamy stuff was clumpy and hard to smooth on and got all into my eyelashes. I think I will just stick to my usual makeup primer and save the money.

5.11.22~ This has got to be the worst wear of a primer ever. Does it smooth, Sure. Is it creamy, Yes. But the creamy melts off color. Thought no way this high end looking tube could fail. I was wrong. Tried it with a new eye shadow & thought maybe it as the shadow. Tried it with Mac shadow & Poof it was gone. Tried it with a crayon. Poof, it was gone. Finally did one eye with 'Mirabella'. One eye 'NYX'. Kept 'Mirabella' eye simple. Swept with neutral & did crease in soft metallic. 'NYX' eye, layered & dabbed. Maybe 4 colors. It's still on my eye. If you buy primer to smooth, then why spend 20 bucks? No really. That's why we have Cruelty Free 'Elf'. If you buy primer to make your work last, maybe explore your options. As for me, gonna go wash off the one eye that still has make-up. (Hint, it's not the 'Mirabella' eye) Good day all.
